The Women’s Fund of the Blue Ridge (WFBR) is a collective giving organization dedicated to creating positive change for women and girls in the High Country of North Carolina. WFBR is an instrumental partner in YES’ efforts to provide young women from Western North Carolina with the tools and opportunities needed to overcome systemic barriers and achieve educational success.
The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation (TCLFF) supports programs, services, and opportunities for those struggling with less and striving for more. The foundation has been a committed supporter of YES’ College Access and Success Programs, helping to empower students from underserved communities to achieve their educational dreams.
The Los Angeles Water and Power Employee Association allows YES to provide comprehensive resources that address the unique challenges faced by students from underserved communities in Los Angeles. LADWP Employee Association empowers YES Scholars to overcome systemic barriers, access higher education, and build bright futures.

The Ahmanson Foundation
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is dedicated to advancing the education of exceptionally promising students who have financial need. The foundation has been a committed supporter of YES Appalachia, empowering the program to address the unique challenges faced by students in rural schools across Watauga and Ashe Counties in Western North Carolina.
The Ceres Foundation is committed to strengthening communities and improving life outcomes for historically underserved youth and their families. The Foundation’s investment plays a vital role in advancing YES Scholars’ mission to ensure that 100% of its Scholars enroll in and graduate from post-secondary institutions. The Ceres Foundation funds trauma-informed care training for YES staff, ensuring our staff is better equipped to provide the emotional and mental health support our Scholars need to thrive.
The Ahmanson Foundation strives to enhance the quality of life and cultural legacy of the Los Angeles community by funding cultural projects in education, programs related to underserved populations, as well as a wide range of human services. The Foundation has enabled us to expand our transportation capacity as we’ve grown by providing generous grants to purchase vans, expanding our geographical reach.

Camp Out for Kids

The Venable Foundation
Camp Out for Kids (COFK) provides summer camp experiences for children in underserved communities, ensuring that every child — regardless of background — can experience the transformative power of summer camp. Because of COFK’s generous funding, YES is able to send Scholars to summer camp where they will gain valuable skills that will support them on their journey to college and beyond.
The Joseph Drown Foundation is committed to helping individuals become successful, self-sustaining citizens. This partnership enables YES to provide mentorship, career development resources, and essential socio-emotional support to ensure Scholars persist through college and successfully transition into their careers.
The Venable Foundation believes that thriving communities lead to shared prosperity. Together, we are equipping our Scholars with the tools they need to excel academically and professionally — ultimately strengthening the communities in which our Scholars live and learn. With their support, we ensure that the economically disadvantaged students in Los Angeles we serve, can pursue their educational and professional goals without limitations imposed by their socioeconomic status.

The Ross Stores Foundation
The Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation is committed to empowering underserved youth through education, health, and sports. The Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation’s support has been instrumental in advancing YES’ STEAM Summer Program for middle and high school students in Los Angeles.
The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting YES Scholars’ mission to ensure that 100% of its Scholars enroll in and graduate from post-secondary institutions. The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation’s investment supports all aspects of YES’ three-phased College Access and Success Programs, which provide comprehensive support for Scholars from middle school through college and graduate programs.
The Ross Stores Foundation plays a key role in advancing YES Scholars’ mission to ensure that 100% of its Scholars enroll in and graduate from post-secondary institutions.Funding from Ross has allowed YES to continue leveling the educational playing field for students from economically disadvantaged homes by providing the critical resources and support often only available to their higher-income peers.

The Leonetti/O’Connell Family Foundation serves Southern California by funding innovative projects and initiatives that benefit Los Angeles County and improve the well-being of its communities. The Leonetti/O’Connell Family Foundation funds YES’ High School & College Student Experiences, which empower Scholars to pursue transformative academic and professional opportunities by removing financial barriers, enabling them to gain hands-on experience, conduct impactful research, and achieve their educational goals.
