Meet Jezebel Roldan

Communication Associate, Los Angeles | jroldan@yesscholars.org

Jezebel first joined YES as a Scholar in 2011 and returned as a staff member in 2022. Raised in Los Angeles, she graduated from Wildwood Upper School and earned a B.A. in Anthropology and Sociology from Centre College.

As YES’s Communications Associate, Jezebel combines her interest in design and storytelling with her connection to the YES community. Her work includes social media, newsletters, and communications materials that highlight Scholars’ experiences and achievements and help people get to know YES. Having experienced the program herself, she brings the perspective of both an alumna and a staff member to her work.

During college, Jezebel participated in the Bonner Program and volunteered with education and nonprofit organizations. She also served as Centre’s first Civic Engagement Intern, helping students get involved in civic life on campus. These experiences helped shape her interest in education, community involvement, and the ways people can contribute to their communities.
