Meet Rebecca Tucker
Executive Director, Los Angeles | rtucker@yesscholars.org
Rebecca Tucker joined YES in 2016, following a career as a media executive specializing in content-driven brand strategy, management, and partnerships. As President of Green Mountain West, a CBS Studios–based production company founded by The Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson, she worked with Discovery Networks, Netflix, HarperCollins, Showtime, and Disney, while also overseeing national tours, independent production financing, Ferguson’s best-selling books and Grammy-nominated audiobook, and philanthropic initiatives with organizations including the USO, American Red Cross, and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Her background in communications, creative development, and organizational strategy provided a strong foundation for her transition to the nonprofit sector. At YES, Rebecca has drawn on those skills to strengthen infrastructure, expand programs, and foster partnerships. She began as YES' Development Associate, then took on the additional role of Director of College to Career Programs, where she built YES’ first formal college support program, designed to provide ongoing holistic support to Scholars throughout their post-secondary journeys and into their careers. She was named Executive Director in 2018.
Originally from South Carolina, Rebecca attended YES partner school, Chatham Hall, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
